I created this logo design as a rebranding strategy for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League.
When the team unveiled its most recent look in 2006, they did away with a unique color scheme in favor of black, and replaced their primary mark with a simple wordmark.
My logo design proposal incorporates a dominant deep blue, with accents of gold, silver, and orange. I also brought back Jade, which was introduced in the original 1993 design, and was a first in professional sports. The logo features a mallard as it takes off in flight.
